What is the challenge?
We are looking for a WebMethods Developer to join our Collaboration and Productivity team. The professional will be responsible for the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of integration solutions, aiming to support connectivity between various applications, systems, and business partners.
Main responsibilities:
Develop and implement integration solutions using the Software AG webMethods platform.
Analyze business requirements and design integration flows that meet communication and data transfer needs between systems.
Configure and optimize webMethods components, including Integration Server, Universal Messaging, API Gateway, and Trading Networks.
Monitor and improve integration performance, proactively identifying and resolving technical issues.
Collaborate with other teams (architecture, development, infrastructure) to ensure the quality and efficiency of integration solutions.
Perform validation tests and provide support in both production and development environments.
Document integration processes and provide technical support and training to other team members.

Technical skills
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related fields
Strong knowledge of webMethods Integration Server, Broker, API Gateway, Universal Messaging, and Trading Networks
Familiarity with integration protocols and standards such as REST, SOAP, XML, JSON, EDI, and FTP
Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases and an understanding of distributed transaction concepts
Good understanding of microservices and API concepts
Knowledge of scripting languages (JavaScript, Shell) and programming languages such as Java
